NNAS APPLICATION
The National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) is a service provided by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) that helps internationally educated nurses (IENs) navigate the registration process for working as a nurse in Canada. The NNAS application process involves several steps, including:
- Creating an NNAS account and submitting an online application.
- Payment of the NNAS application fee.
- Completing an online self-assessment, which includes providing information about your education and work experience.
- Providing proof of your nursing qualifications and English language proficiency.
- Having your academic credentials evaluated by designated organizations.
- Waiting for NNAS to complete the assessment of your application, which may take up to 6 months.
- Upon completion of the NNAS assessment, the results of your application will be sent to the regulatory body in the Canadian province or territory where you have applied to register.
- Receive guidance from regulatory body to finish registration and licensure process
