Hi, How Can We Help You?

RExPN

RExPN

The Regulatory Exam for Practical Nurses (REx-PN) is a standardized exam used to assess the knowledge and skills of individuals who are seeking to become licensed practical nurses (LPNs) in Canada. The exam is administered by the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE) Board, which is responsible for setting the standards and policies for practical nursing practice in Canada.

To be eligible to take the REx-PN exam, individuals must have completed an approved practical nursing education program and meet the requirements for licensure in their province or territory of practice. The REx-PN exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is designed to test the candidate’s knowledge in five domains of practice: health promotion and maintenance, safe and effective care environment, psychosocial integrity, physiological integrity, and pharmacological and parenteral therapies.
